SURE FIRE PLUS SYSTEM
The Sure Fire Plus System allow the user to test a door without having to
manually reset the release mechanism, thus encouraging testing and
eliminating costly service calls for resetting.
The
Sure Fire Plus System is ideal in applications where dependability and
safety for occupants is a must. The Sure Fire Plus System, which does not
rely on mechanical means for emergency closure, is used when frequent
testing is required, when the fire door is located above the ceiling, or
when there is general public access around the fire door.
During an alarm or test the door will close
by motor - after an announcement by voice module and activation of strobe lights.
If the door hits an obstruction, it will cycle 3 times and
rest on the object. If the object is removed the door will power to a fully closed
position.
During a power failure the door will remain open unless there is an
alarm condition. An integral, uninterruptible power source can operate the door up
to 10 cycles or 4 hours. Power monitoring relay will close door and keep it closed
if battery power will not be sufficient to operate door through a complete cycle.
Door will automatically reset with resumption of power and activation of opening device.
