Series 4500, Model 4502
Heavy Duty Rigid Insulated Industrial Impact Door
Features:
- Series 4500 will suit door opening sizes up to and including 10'0" wide
x 10'0" high
- Double-Dutch models available for openings higher than 10'
- Ideally suited for pedestrian, push cart, and forklift traffic
- Not recommended for high speed forklift traffic
- Available in a wide range of colors. Also available with metal cladding such as; stainless steel, anodized aluminum, galvanized steel either solid or in combination
- Optional heavy duty floor mounted v-cam is standard and combined with the rugged steel tubing interior frame will give years of durable, trouble free service with a minimum of maintenance
- Heavy duty, shock absorbing 5⁄16” thick HDP spring bumpers minimize impact danger from motorized equipment thus protecting the equipment itself, the load, the door panels and most importantly personnel
- Easily replaceable gasket mounted in an aluminum track
- Models 4502 offers large vision areas for visibility and safety
- Can be fabricated with a different color face panel on each side
- Protective steel bollards are recommended for areas of high volume forklift traffic
- For custom sizes consult All-Rite
- 8" wide x ¼" thick steel frame mounted to a solid foundation is
recommended for proper anchoring, supplied by others
Door Body:
- 1¾" thick overall, double acting, shock absorbing construction
consisting of an all welded 1½" square tubular steel interior framework
- Face panels are ⅛" thick high impact and abrasion resistant one
piece coloured "tuf plas" riveted to the tubular steel framework.
- The interior door panels are filled with a urethane foam
- Each panel is securely fastened between two rolled formed 11 gauge steel
side frames with one coat black top quality baking enamel
- Door panels have full perimeter gasketing
- Gasketing is mounted in an extruded aluminum track
- Upper hardware hinge covers supplied as standard
- Each panel has a clear safety acrylic ⅛" thick double "thermopane"
window.
- Standard window size is 70% of panel width x 21' high.
Hinge Hardware:
- Floor mounted, v-cam gravity type, double acting, swinging 90° in each
direction.
- V-cam gravity hinge hardware is an assembly of 15⁄16” diameter
continuous steel posts with high strength cast steel alloy gravity type
floor mounted v-cam
bearing and a high strength cast steel alloy gravity type upper bearing both
fitted with self lubricating bronze oil-lite bushings. The v-cam
follower is fitted with a 1½" diameter aircraft quality needle bearing cam
yoke roller
- All door panels are furnished with an adjustable spring compensator
- All hardware components are galvanized to resist corrosion
- Galvanized steel top weld plates with studs supplied.
