Hi-Speed Vinyl Model 8500S Super Roll

The 8500S is perfect for INTERIOR or EXTERIOR applications up to 16" x 18'.  Besides all the traditional features, the "S" door is faster than conventional doors, with speeds up to 84" per second and a direct drive operator without the use of couplings, chains or clutches.  Fully gasketed with smooth running wind rollers and a manual crank handle for manual operation, and removable hinged front frame are standard.

The heart of the 8500 Series Turbo Drive System is a Helical Gear Box with direct drive. No chains or clutches are used for superior reliability. German technology is utilized to deliver 2 or 3 horsepower (depending on the size of door) to operate at speeds up to 84" per second.

Unique to the 8500 High Speed Doors is the "Super Logic" System, with power up and self diagnostic test door motion scan technology. Simply put, it shows the status of all individual devices mounted to the door. This results in less down time when servicing.

The control panel is a NEMA 4X non-metallic cabinet. Features include a key operated open/close to service switch, green door activation button, and red mushroom Emergency Stop button on the face. The control panel features a Variable Frequency Drive which allows programmable speed and soft start/stop.

The advanced breakaway system is the most reliable system ever featured on the 8500 series door. It does not require a service call or any replacement parts to re-engage, saving both time and money. It is also completely cordless, making it among the safest systems available.

The Super Sensitive reversing edge has been designed with a continuous contact strip along the entire length of the waterproof and rear-resistant bottom. The temperature has little to no effect on its sensitivity, reducing service calls.
