Firefly II Plus Fire Door Release Device with Battery Backup

All-Rite's Firefly II Plus time delay release devices are designed for use on rolling doors, single-slide and center parting level and inclined track doors.  All models are normally energized Fail-Safe Releasing Devices incorporating an internal 72-hour battery pack and state of the art electronic control circuitry. The Firefly II Plus series release devices respond to emergency conditions generated by manual or automatic normally closed initiating devices and shall be used in conjunction with a temperature fuse link system.

Features:

  • Solid state fail safe operation
  • 72-hour battery backup
  • Diagnostic LED's
  • Down limit detection (motor-operated doors)
  • Supports up to 4 Auxiliary Devices
  • Adjustable 0-10 sec. Delay On Alarm Response Release

Applications:

  • For use on all service fire and counter fire doors w/release arm drop out
  • GH, H and GH Operators w/B2 wiring (modification required, see below)

Options:

  • Smoke Detector(s)
  • Sounder Strobe (strobe light & horn)

Operation:

Motor-operated doors may use the down limit detection feature which will prevent release if the door is in the closed position.

Modifications:
Motor operators will require an auxiliary closed limit switch for down limit detection
