CD8-3 Crank-Operated Aluminum Rolling Counter Door

Mounting:  Face of Wall mounted

Maximum Size:  20’4” wide x 7’4” high

General:

• Materials furnished with all Aluminum Rolling Counter Doors include all curtains, bottom bars, guides, brackets, hoods, operating mechanisms and any special features.
• All Aluminum Rolling Counter Doors are designed to a standard maximum of 10 cycles per day and an overall maximum of 20,000 operating cycles for the life of the door.

Materials

• The door curtain is constructed of interconnected .050 extruded aluminum No. 8 (15⁄16” high by 3⁄8” deep) slats.
• The bottom bar is constructed of tubular extruded aluminum measuring 15⁄16” deep by 2¼” high with a double vinyl astragal on the bottom edge.
• The guides are constructed of extruded aluminum and measures 1¾” square. Each side of the channel portion capturing the curtain contains wool pile weatherstripping.
• The brackets are constructed of 3⁄16” thick die cast aluminum.
• All gears are cast iron with teeth cast from machine cut patterns. The pinion gear is not less than a 3” pitch diameter. The gear ratio is designed for a maximum effort of not more than 30 pounds.
• The barrel is steel tubing of not less than 4” in diameter. Oil tempered torsion springs are capable of correctly counter balancing the weight of the curtain. The barrel is designed to limit the maximum deflection to .03” per foot of opening width.
• The hood is fabricated from .040 aluminum and is formed to fit the square brackets.

Finish:

• Aluminum Bronze Anodize:
  The curtain, bottom bar, guides, barrel and hood have a bronze anodized finish.
• Aluminum Clear Anodize:
  The curtain, bottom bar, guides, barrel  and hood have a 204-R1 clear anodized finish.

Operation

• Crank operated doors open and close utilizing a hand crank with a removable operating arm.

Locking Mechanisms

• The crank doors shall be secured by means of a concealed sliding bolt deadlock in the bottom bar operated by a [thumbturn] [cylinder lock].

Installation

• All-Rite Aluminum Rolling Counter Doors must installed by an authorized All-Rite representative.

Warranty

• All-Rite Aluminum Rolling Counter Doors are warranted for a period of 2 years from the time of shipment against defects in workmanship and materials.
