Series 6500 Breakaway Panel Competitive Analysis
The main feature which distinguishes the Series 6500 Breakaway Panel from
that of the competitors is a feature which translates to cost savings for
the customer. Although the competitors' version of the panel is
advertised as "breakaway", it does not possess true breakaway features.
While the competitors' version of the breakaway panel "flexes" upon impact,
it will snap out of the track, forcing the trolley wheels along with it, if
the force exerted on it continues. This translates into cumbersome,
tedious and costly repairs, every time the panel is impacted. It also
means lost employee time and energy loss.
The Series 6500 Breakaway Panel, on the other hand, is a "true" breakaway
panel. The design eliminates the high costs associated with downtime
and repairs, by offering a feature that the competition does not.
Upon impact, our panel "flexes" and, if the force of impact continues to be
applied to the Breakaway Panel, the panel ALONE will be released from
its frame, leaving both the framing and trolley wheels completely intact and
still secure along the track where they belong.
The breakaway portion of the panel itself can then be manually placed back
into position, with minimal effort, in virtually seconds. This means a
considerable amount of savings, due to a decrease in wasted time and energy
loss and elimination of the high cost of repairs.
