  Completing All-Rite's extensive dock leveler product line is
the Model VS Vertical Storing Dock Leveler.
Vertical storing dock levelers eliminate obstructions in pit and allow trucks to
back against the building without opening trailer doors until in position
against dock, protecting trailer contents.
The dock leveler is stored in the vertical position behind
the overhead door allowing for a complete, energy efficient seal thus minimizing
heating and cooling loss.

Model "VS" Features
 The
VS Dock Leveler is a designed to save time and money. The VS is specially
designed for use in climate controlled applications where the overhead door must
be kept closed when not in use.
The dock leveler is stored in the vertical position behind
the overhead door allowing for a complete, energy efficient seal thus minimizing
heating and cooling loss.
 The VS Series Dock Leveler includes a "controlled lowering"
hydraulic system - the dock attendant must push and hold a pushbutton to lower
the unit. The power pack provides a "hydraulic float" to allow the dock to move
up and down during load transfers.
All-Rite's VS Series can efficiently service a wide range of
transporter vehicles including refrigerated trailers. The open style
continuous pit design is easier to form, reduces construction costs and greatly
simplifies cleaning and maintenance.

Model "VS" Benefits
- Deck support is provided by wide flange 6" X 4" (152mm X 102mm) structural
I-Beams welded at dynamic impact points. Continuous single piece headboard
increases strength across the front of the deck.
- The Lip Hinge is a full width design to maximize strength and to withstand
the dynamic forces. The deck hinge is fixed full width piano-style hinge which
is fastened to a 10" cast-in-place rear anchor channel.
- The VS comes with a mechanical safety lock for added security when not in
use.
- The controls consist of individual constant pressure pushbuttons for UP,
LIP, DOWN and RESET functions mounted on a remote NEMA 12 , oil and dust
resistant control box.
- The VS is powered by a 1 HP power pack (TEFC) equipped with a motor that has
overload protection and comes available in all common single-phase voltages.
- The VS provides a working load range of 12" (305mm) above and 6" (152mm)
below normal cross traffic level.
- High Visibility safety striping alerts personnel when the dock leveler is in
the extended (raised) position above cross traffic.
