Model "M" Features
  The Model M Dock Leveler is a high performance, high capacity system designed to
require minimal maintenance. The Model M offers excellent value.
To operate, simply pull the release chain. The heavy duty lift springs do the
work. The deck rises and the lip is smoothly extended into the locked position.
The deck is then walked down; descending under the weight of the operator until
the lip makes contact with the load bed of the transporter vehicle. To return
the Model M dock leveler to the stored position, the release ring is pulled and
the deck is walked down again until the lip comes to rest inside the lip
keepers.
All-Rite offers a range of safety features such as full range
toe guard protection, swing-out maintenance strut and high visibility safety
striping. The heavy duty main lift springs come with a lifetime warranty.
The Model M comes equipped with a dependable friction type
hold-down system that reduces cross traffic bounce and provides instant hold at
any point in the full operating range. The Model M also offers a patented lip
actuator. As the deck rises the lip smoothly extends outward to the locked
position. The lip will also collapse safely if struck while in the extended
position. Mechanical fall safe prevents platform free fall.
An aftermarket conversion kit is also available for upgrading
the dock leveler to the high performance of a hydraulic dock leveler for
increased productivity.

Model "M" Benefits
- Deck support is provided by a 6 I-beams (8 at higher capacities) welded at
dynamic impact points. Continuous single piece headboard increases strength
across the front of the deck.
- The Lip Hinge is a full width design to maximize strength and to withstand
the dynamic forces.
- All-Rite Levelers are designed to tilt to either side - up to 4” (102mm)
when under load. This floating action allows full width contact between the lip
and the transporter vehicle load bed. This is a unique feature of All-Rite
hydraulic and mechanical dock levelers.
- The Model M provides a working load range of 12” (305mm) above and 12”
(305mm) below normal stored deck level.
- A Swing out Maintenance Strut comes standard on all All-Rite hydraulic and
mechanical dock levelers.
- Full range Toe Guards, sometimes called Safety Skirts, come standard in ANSI
approved safety yellow.
- High Visibility safety striping alerts personnel when the dock leveler is in
the extended (raised) position above cross traffic.
- The Model M comes standard with molded or laminated rubber bumpers (2 each)
as well as mechanical night locks and stops
- Optional Brush or Rubber weather seals prevent debris from entering the pit
area and reduces heating and cooling loss as well.
