Series "A" Model FH Hydraulic Dock LevelerThe FH Model Dock Leveler is a high performance, high capacity system designed to require minimal maintenance.
All-Rite offers a range of safety features such as full range toe guard protection, hydraulic fall safe protection and the capability to be interlocked with our optional hydraulic truck restraint system with driver communications package. The FH comes equipped with a multi-pushbutton control station which provides enhanced versatility. The operator can select automated or manual control functions with options for independent deck and lip operation with standard automatic "return-to-stored" position.
The hydraulic power system is continuous duty rated with a 1 HP fan cooled (TEFC) motor available in single or three phase and a wide variety of voltage ratings. All electrical components are UL/CSA approved. Box Beam Construction
Type: Recessed, pit installed hinged dock leveler. Electro-hydraulic operated with independent control of deck and lip. Vertical Travel: Working range of 12" (305mm) above and 12" (305mm) below dock level. Automatic Vertical Compensation: Unit provides float of 12" (305mm) above and 12" (305mm) below dock level. Automatic Lateral Compensation: Provides maintained side-to-side deck tilt of up to 4" (101mm) to compensate for canted truck beds. Lip Operation: Hydraulically powered lip, controlled independently of main deck cylinder. Lip will yield under impact of incoming truck and will automatically drop pendant upon truck's departure. The length of the lip extension shall not be less than 16" (406mm) from the ramp edge. Automatic ramp return to cross traffic position: From the raised or lowered positions, unloaded ramp can automatically return to stored cross-traffic position, upon truck’s departure. Hydraulic Operating System: Easy to operate, quiet and smooth cycling. Electro-hydraulic raising and hydraulic lowering of the dock ramp controlled from a remote multi pushbutton station. Includes means of lowering the dock ramp below platform level with lip retracted behind dock bumpers. The loaded ramp’s free fall is limited to not over 3” (76mm) by a hydraulic velocity fuse. Unit shall come complete with a 1HP, totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) motor and equipped with overload protection. Power pack mounted underneath the deck ramp.
Rated Capacity: Welding procedure compliant with A.W.S.D1.1 98 specifications. All units rated in compliance with ANSI MH14.1. UL approved electrical components. Capacities available from 30,000lb to 80,000lb (13,636kg to 36,370kg). Structural deck support to include minimum six each high-tensile solid steel I-beam members. Safety Devices:
Finish and Colour: Toe guards painted safety yellow as specified by ANSI Z535.1. Remainder of unit painted gray. High visibility OSHA safety striping on stationary side toe guards. Warranty: Standard ten-year structural and five-year on power pack. One-year parts and
labor warranty from date of shipment. All warranties are subject to standard

The FH offers push-button electro-hydraulic operation with an
automatically actuated hydraulic beveled lip plate. 
The Hydraulic Lip Cylinder increases operating efficiency and
reduces maintenance requirements considerably compared to mechanically actuated
lips. The deck cylinder is equipped with a velocity fuse fall safe which limits
free fall of the deck to within 3" (76mm). 
Remote PB Control Station:
A multiple push button control station with constant pressure “UP”, “LIP” and
thermal “RESET” buttons, “MANUAL/AUTO” two position selector switch and
push/pull mushroom style “STOP” button. Control station is NEMA12 (dust tight
and drip proof)) rated, 8¾” W x 11½” H x 7¼” D (222 x 292 x 184mm) in size with
English/Spanish/French instructional language.
