Series 0201 Adjustable Curtain Truck Dock Seal
 Compression
dock seals provide the most effective seal and are the most economical way to
form an air-tight seal between the building and the back end of the trailer.
The Series
0201 curtain style dock seal is designed to fit taller door openings and
accommodate vehicles of varying sizes. The adjustable split head
curtain can be easily positioned by one person from inside the building by means
of a rope and pulley assembly after the vehicle is in position.
Specially developed ultra-high performance foam pad cover fabrics offer the
ultimate in tear, abrasion, and weather resistance. The resilient foam pads
create a tight seal that blocks out foul weather, insects, and dust.

- Series 0201 standard dimensions for door openings 8'0" wide x 10'0" high
are two (2) 10'0" high vertical pads with a 12" face, cube shaped, and one (1)
10'0" long head curtain with a 30" drop.
- Unit projection to be 10".
- Seals trailers 11'6" to 13'6" high from grade with dock height of 48".
- Can be fitted for openings up to 10'0" wide x 12'0" high by the use of wedge
shaped vertical pads and a longer drop curtain.
- A large selection of cover fabrics available including our exclusive SS-90
high performance vinyl and 16 oz vinyl "RipStop". Other fabrics available
include: hypalons, neoprenes and vinyls.
- 6" maximum pad projection in front of the dock bumper face is recommended to
prevent over compression, excessive wear and tear, and undue building wall pressure.
Features:
- Adjustable split head curtain and fixed vertical side
pads to suit standard door openings 8'0" W x 10'0" H (2,488 x 3,048mm).
- Manufactured using using kiln-dried pressurized wood and a
high density, light weight urethane foam core with 98% compression recovery and
maintaining flexibility at -40 degree (fire retardant formula available, please
specify).
- Heavy-duty wolmanized wood frame
- Tapered head curtain prevents water from standing on top
- The foam core is continuously bonded
(not spot glued) to the wood backing with a high quality, non-flammable elastic
adhesive.
- Cover fabric is double stitched with a high strength twisted
4 ply 100% polyester bonded thread UV treated.
- The cover fabric overlaps
the wood backing totally enclosing it and is fastened with heavy-duty staples.
- High resilient virgin polyurethane foam, custom-cut to your specifications
in-house
- All foam pads are vented through brass plated grommets
allowing air to be exhausted and moisture to drain when pads are compressed.
- Vertical pads are tapered cut at the bottom to prevent sagging, pinching and
excessive wear when compressed and tapered cut at top to provide adequate
drainage and prevent water from standing on top
- Nylon mesh breather panels on side pads and head pad allow air and moisture
to be released
- Vertical pads have a full height 4" yellow guide strip to aid in spotting
trailers.
- Unit comes complete with a matching full width touch and hold
Velcro adjustable split curtain over vertical pads.
- A full width steel tube is
inserted into a pocket of the head curtain to prevent from sagging.
- The curtain
is manually adjusted by means of a rope and pulley assembly.
- Unit is furnished
with all necessary mounting hardware, galvanized or zinc-coated to resist corrosion.
