Models “FH” and “FHE” Features

Models FH and FHE Dock Levelers are high performance systems. Push-button electro-hydraulic operation.  Automatically
actuated hydraulic beveled lip. Maintenance-free hydraulics.

All-Rite offers a range of safety features such as full range toe guard protection, hydraulic fall safe protection and the capability to be interlocked with our optional hydraulic truck restraint system (Model “FH” w/restraint, Model “FHE” w/restraint) with driver safety communications package.


  • FHE model comes with rugged, wall mounted single shielded push-button control for ease of operation.
  • FH model comes with a multi push-button control station which allows the operator to select automated or manual
    • control functions with options for independent deck and lip operation with standard automatic return to stored position.
  • Hydraulic lip cylinders increase operating efficiency, reduce maintenance requirements over mechanically actuated lips.
  • Velocity fuse fall safe limits free fall to within 3” (76 mm).
  • Continuous duty rated hydraulic power system with 1 HP fan cooled (TEFC) motor available for all electrical requirements. UL/CSA approved electrical components.


Models “FH” and “FHE” Benefits

  • Deck support is provided by a 6 I-beams (8 at higher capacities) welded at dynamic impact points. Continuous single piece headboard increases strength across the front of the deck.
  • The Lip Hinge is a full width design to maximize strength and to withstand the dynamic forces. The “FH” and “FHE” come equipped with a minimum of 7 rear hinge support blocks plus two corner mounted tilt pockets for a total of 9 rear hinge supports.
  • All-Rite Dock levelers are designed to tilt to either side - up to 4” (102mm) when under load. This floating action allows full width contact between the lip and the transporter vehicle load bed. This is a unique feature that is exclusive to All-Rite Dock levelers hydraulic and mechanical dock levelers.
  • The “FH” and “FHE” provide a working load range of 12” (305mm) above and 12” (305mm) below normal stored deck level.
  • A Swing out Maintenance Strut comes standard on All-Rite hydraulic and mechanical dock levelers.
  • Full range Toe Guards, sometimes called Safety Skirts, come standard in ANSI approved safety yellow.
  • High Visibility safety striping alerts personnel when the dock leveler is in the extended (raised) position above cross traffic.
  • The “FH” and “FHE” come standard with molded or laminated rubber bumpers (2 each) as well as mechanical night locks and stops
  • Optional Brush or Rubber weather seals prevent debris from entering the pit area and reduces heating and cooling loss as well.
